Wedding Fever

Saturday July 25, 2009... traveled back to Columbus this past weekend for the marriage of a good friend of Matt and I- Ashley Spitler. Mo couldn't make it so I took my very best friend instead. We had so much fun! We got to see a few people we hadn't seen in a while including once of Matt's groomsmen- Jay Jefferis. It was really great to spend time with everyone. It was definitely a nice little prelude to all the fun to be had at our wedding in November...

Matt...

-grew up in Huron, Ohio and is the son of Joe and Kim Maloney.

-played baseball for The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss Rebels) until his Junior year (2005) before getting drafted in the 3rd round to the Philadelphia Phillies.

-was traded in 2007 to the Cincinnati Reds.

-made his MLB debut in June 2009 against the Chicago Cubs.

-enjoys playing the guitar, listening to music, hiking, adventures with his wife and dogs, grilling out, and road trips.

Kalee...

-grew up in Huron, Ohio and is the daughter of Chris and Lisa Basting.

-attended THE Ohio State University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Communication, with a focus on public relations.

-is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal coach/trainer and enjoys working out/weight training and helping others to enjoy it too.

-practices Bikram Yoga 5-7 times a week and believes it is much more than exercise, stretching, and sweating- it is a way of life.

-is constantly growing and learning to LET GO and JUST BE.

-has faith in a Higher Power and a Life Force that runs through everyone and everything.

-is passionate about Yoga- healthy mind = healthy body = healthy life.

In terms of spirituality/ holiness/ godliness... briefly:
